Unfortunately, in Texas, one out of four people does not have health insurance and that’s a huge problem in this state. For a lot of our clients in those situations, a lot of doctors won’t see you if you don’t have health insurance.
We have both doctors who will work with us who will work see our clients give them treatment but with the understanding of course that if and when we recover they will be paid. We sit down with our clients and go through that in detail to make sure they understand the circumstances and parameters of providing this.
It allows many of our clients to have the treatment that they might not otherwise get or even better many times people will have to go to the emergency room because they don’t have some kind of insurance and that’s not good for the system and it’s not good for the client necessarily either. It’s much better to get them into a specialist who can treat them directly and provide payment for that specialist when the case resolves.
