“The pandemic has fundamentally, and possibly forever, changed the way we do business,” Brad says. In the months leading into 2021, Parker Law Firm decided to double down and plow forward. They pivoted and began working remotely and relying more on technology and incorporating new procedures to keep everyone on the team involved, motivated and accountable.
As 2020 came to an end, the team gathered together for the very first time since the pandemic at an offsite location to spend the day and discuss the vision for the firm going forward into 2021. A third-party facilitator was brought in to spend the day putting together a comprehensive quarterly plan to guide them into and through the new year and beyond.
Working together, they discovered some blind spots and weaknesses that needed to be addressed. They evaluated what they were doing well and how they could do it even better. The first and foremost topic of concern from each team member was how to make the client experience with the firm be even better.
The firm’s first order of business for the new year is to create several videos for client on-boarding. Videos that clients can watch that explain the pre-litigation and litigation process and learn what to expect and how the process is going to work. These videos fit perfectly into another one of the firm’s core values – “Knowledge is Power.”
Parker Law Firm sincerely strives to not only provide excellent legal representation to every one of its clients, but also make every person’s (client or not) interaction with Parker Law Firm to be the absolute best customer experience. To sum it up in a nutshell, the firm’s No. 1 goal for 2021 and beyond is to provide “Excellence in Everything.”
Brad says, “If you would have asked me a year ago if we could ever work remotely on a full-time basis, I would have said, ‘No way!’ This pandemic has shown me just what we are capable of when a crisis presents itself. With the accountability processes we have in place to ensure we don’t stagnate or falter, I can see us continuing to work primarily remotely and just come in a day or two a week or as needed.”
